Prerequisites for the use of INVENT sampling-type inventory

The following stock-specific prerequisites must be fulfilled before carrying out sampling-type inventory with INVENT.

The (sub-) stock includes at least 1500 different stock keeping units
The management of the stock by type, amount and value is carried out through a
computerbased system
About 20 % of the highest value stock units make up 40 to 60 % of the total stock value
Substantial deviations between the book stock and the actual stock appear at a
maximum of just 20 % of all stock keeping units
