Dillinger Hüttenwerke AG
Dillinger Hüttenwerke AG will be controlling its on-site transport with SyncroTESS from July 2007. With a workforce of over 5,000, the company produces pig-iron, steel and heavy plating at its site in Dillingen. SynchroTESS will be used for the optimal scheduling of 45 vehicles in total, amongst them tractors to pull roll pallets, lorries and dumper trucks for transportation of tubs. The system will also control passive transport resources. This way Dillinger Hüttenwerke AG is able to improve scheduling, minimise empty miles and increase productivity.

The SyncroSupply truck control system synchronises truck deliveries supplying materials to Volkswagen sites. Since 2006, the IT system has been rolled out at the sites in Kassel, Ingolstadt, Györ and Salzgitter.
Following implementation at other sites, the system will control more than 3500 truck deliveries daily. In the future Volkswagen will use SyncroSupply centrally to control and optimise all truck deliveries of materials used for the production of automobiles. In addition to all external and internal information, the software also incorporates into planning and control all personnel involved, truck drivers, haulier schedulers and controlling staff.

British Airways London Heathrow: Succesful Roll-Out into Baggage Logistics
In November 2006, the GS RealTime module and radio data terminals were successfully launched into British Airways Baggage Logistics in T1 Domestic Arrivals, Short-Haul and Long Haul Arrivals at Heathrow Airport. This is beeing followed by the roll-out of GroundStar to the same processes in T4 this month. By the beginning of next year the roll-out to the aircraft movements, ramp (loading/unloading and turn around managers) as well as passenger services areas will be effected.

Udo Nießen, INFORM GmbH and Sven Daniels, HPC GmbH explained in their well attended lecture "The intelligence behind: CTB's IT approach" the vital role of the TERMINALSTAR system for the reconstruction of CTB. Automotive Congress in Bremen meets Big Response From 6 to 7 April INFORM organized an automotive congress under the headline "Increasing Efficiency in Automotive Logistics" at DaimlerChrysler AG in Bremen. More than 70 automotive manufacturers and component suppliers met in Bremen to discuss problems and solutions in logistics.
The choice of the venue was no coincidence. Since 1988 already the DaimlerChrysler plant Bremen has been using the transport control system SyncroTESS for optimizing in plant transports. In 2002 DaimlerChrysler and INFORM developed in the framework of a pilot scheme the software solution SyncroSupply for synchronizing truck transports and inter plant transports, as to control external and internal transports in an optimized way. On Tuesday 31 of January the GroundStar Stand Management for the British Airways' stands at Heathrow Airport's T1 and T4 went life successfully. This follows the successful implementation of Stand Management in London Gatwick beginnings of December 2005.
The British Airways as well as the INFORM project teams are happy to announce that the system is operational and running smoothly at both airports. January 17, 2006 - (Airport Systems) Moscow Airport Vnukovo becomes GroundStar Client INFORM has been awarded the contract for the implementation of GroundStar at Vnukovo Airport. The Airport wants to implement the GroundStar IT to improve its operation.
