SyncroTESS will be controlling 380 trucks at EDEKA Minden-Hannoverr

EDEKA Minden-Hannover is one of the regional wholesalers, which are consolidated in EDEKA Zentrale AG & Co. KG in Hamburg. EDEKA Minden-Hannover operates 4 storehouses and 5 handling centres in it's distribution area and supplies about 1650 customer sites.

EDEKA Minden-Hannover has commissioned the transport efficiency support system SyncroTESS by INFORM for planning and realisation of supply transports from the storehouses to the customer sites and the necessary transfers between the storehouses, which for the most part are executed by the 380 company-owned trucks. The aim is an optimized overall route planning and transport control with an increase in truck utilisation. Despite the increased utilisation, the amount of manually processed tours will be reduced to a minimum. The dispatcher will intervene only in case of unforeseen events.
