Budapest Airport Signs for AODB
The Budapest Airport has signed an agreement with INFORM GmbH for the provision of an Airport Operational Database for the Ferihegy Airport. INFORM’s AODB, an integration-broker-based system of the GroundStar suite, will be installed with the main aim of guaranteeing the seamless integration of the variety of systems on which Ferihegy Airport’s operation relies. INFORM will also supply its planning and real-time deployment systems for the management of aircraft stands, baggage belts and check-in counters.

INFORM was able to supply the trial version of the transport management system SyncroTESS to the Hermes Logistics Group (HLG) in Friedewald, Hesse, only five months after commissioning. HLG will put the new system into operation in its new central greenfield transshipment base (HUB) in January 2009. SyncroTESS will control all transports within the HUB.

Hermes Logistics Group entrusts SyncroTESS with its second main handling base
The Hermes Logistics Group (HLG) successfully commissioned the HUB in Hückelhoven at the beginning of this year. Since then, the SyncroTESS software has been optimising the yard management and the logistical cooperation of hall and yard staff. Following this positive experience with INFORM, HLG has now ordered SyncroTESS for its new main handling base in Friedewald, Hessen. An around 18,000 m² sorting centre will go into operation there in January 2009 which can handle over 20,000 parcels every hour.
